Northern Terminus of the PCT. Mile 2650

The last stretch. It has not gotten easier. Every day is a challenge and I have a count down going on. Only four more days. These are the words I start this stretch with, along with "You can do this". No matter how tired I am, the beauty still amazes me. Fall really has left her mark on the landscape. I imagine that the mountains are becoming more bare due to how north we are. To know that you only have 50 miles to go. Two days, two days, You can do this.  These trees are amazing. They look like evergreen trees, but they change colors in the fall. Yet to be seen if they loose all of their needles. P.S. That line on the mountain is the trail ahead. *Sigh* So pretty, but onward ho. An up close example of the changing color evergreens. Gold and red, fall in full swing. This picture is a little dim due to the clouds that briefly have stopped raining on me.  Rain/Snow. My weather on the day I will finally see the Northern Terminus. ...
