Packing Supplies

Packing up supplies was a daunting task. But at least Ragnar helped me :) I have prepared three months of dog and human food, with the remainder to be prepared at a later date.  Scott will be sending the packages to me. 

With extensive research,  I decided that 2500 calories a day was right for my height, weight, and activity.  Each meal is 500 cal and I will eat 5 snacks of 200 cal each. Of my calories,  40% comes from fat.

Studies have shown that low intensity endurance activities causes the body to burn fat vs carbs.  Not to mention 1gm of fat is 9 cal vs 4cal per gram in protein and carbs.
