Indian Heaven Wilderness, WA. Mile 2195

Mt Hood shrouded in smoke from the Gorge fire. Beauty out of such tragedy. About to embark on a two day section between bridge of the gods and the Indian Heaven Wilderness Fire. Yes, another fire.

It has been a peaceful area full of new plants and fruits. Thank you Washington for the change in scenery. 

Periodically I run into fallen wasp nests. Always so interesting to look at.

At one of the road crossings, during my night hike, I encountered vinegar, an empty booze bottle and a fire detour map. I have no idea what this person was up too.

I made it to Bridge of the Gods at night. Unfortunately, due to fire, I cannot cross or go on the bridge.
